About Us

Welcome to Squiggle and Bean, my small business. My name is Kate, I live in West Sussex with my husband and two children. Squiggle and Bean is named after my children, the nicknames I gave them when I was pregnant. 

The business began on 1st January 2016 as Katie Creates and has gone through several changes over the years. I absolutely love crafting, whether it is crochet - which is what I make and sell - cross stitch, or bible journaling.

At Squiggle and Bean I make all the toys, which are all UKCA/CE tested (which makes them legal to sell and safe for newborns). I crochet them, and I just love it! I spend a long time looking for patterns, creating new toys and working on new ideas. I always have a long list of toys I want to make and launch!

I love all the toys I make, but I think my favourite is either the narwhal or the sloth.
